    I know I’m crazy, but this is one of my favorite WODs. Although every time I get to the Burpees I change my mind.

    and agreed, i always think i like this workout until the 2nd burpee when i realize i still have 48 to go and wonder if anyone would notice if i burpeed my way out the door and into my car.

    Mike…I will just pretend that you never said that word “favorite”. I do agree with you on the burpees…the WORST part of the work out. Oh…and congrats on your PR!

    37:35, 20# KB, 30# for PP, step-ups, and did 50 squats in lieu of the DU.

    Even sweet Trish said the “F” word when she saw the work out!

    And Amber……if you said one more time “this is such a fun work-out”, I was going to drop kick you. Not really…just pull your hair until you cried and ruined your eye make up!! :)

    Joe…thanks for the pointers on helping me improve my sucky wall balls!!

  15. 31:00… ish. The clock reset ;( As always, sheer hell. I couldn’t even take my kid to basketball practice after! Oh, and Carol… would I be doing my job if I told you how terrible the workout was going to be?! There IS something fun about the Filthy Fifty… until the KTEs, wall balls, and burpees. Ew.

    To the morning crew peeps… WAY to challenge yourselves to do all 500 reps, Trish and Carol! Great work, Marc, on your very first Filthy Fifty! Congrats on the PRs, too, Mike and Joe!! Woo-hoo!

    28:14 Rx PR over last time by 5 1/2 minutes. Finally got my knees to my elbows everytime this time. Great push tonight everybody!! Mike, this is one of my favorites too–it’s sentimental b/c it was my first named WOD :) .

  19. Marc 37/205 when I saw the WOD – wasn’t so much digin it, once I started I liked it a little less, but at the end I felt like I pushed myself to the limit. Everyone else in the am looked the same, killer job guys. Thanks for the pointers Amber and Joe. This place surely humbles you. 26:56 SU/DU mix. On the way home I got a call from a “friend” to help move furniture to the third floor…FML.

    I’m sorry I have been away so long. You were good to me for a solid year and a half. You carried me through me newbie “I think I’m gonna die because my body hurts all over” mentality to my “I WILL be the most fit 9 month pregnant woman ever” mentality. I know it was hard to be separated while I took a break to have a baby and get him settled into a schedule, but to drop Filthy Fifty on me, the day I come back was a little harsh. I feel like I have done well, the baby is sleeping, my house is in order, and now it’s time to get back in shape. I just wanted to let you know that I still love you and hope we can settle our differences and I look forward to rekindling our romance.
