10x Jumping Squats (45# bar)

10x Turkish Getups (5 each arm @ 35#/25#) click here

10x Med Ball Situps (20#/14#)

  1. OK, this is the first time I have not wanted to go to CFO after seeing the WOD. I can’t even feed myself my arms are so toasted from those damn ring push ups. What to do???

    The last time I did Turkish get-ups, I spent half the workout on the floor sucking air. This time I spent much less time on the floor, but it still took about 43:20 (I’d have to check the board to make sure). TGUs were slow and painful. First set with 35# for TGU, 25# thereafter. Otherwise as Rx.

    Yesterday it was WOO HOO…today was a challenge for the uncoordinated! Man those TGU are something else. Amber…doing them treated, all I can say is WOW and double WOW! Heather, you looked like a freakin ballerina you were so smooth! Jess, great time!

    My time was: 42:38 using 30# bar, 10# for TGU and 8# for med ball sit ups.

    Carli, since I can’t jump I did not do them but watching the others, they laid the bar over their shoulders and basically did an air squat but came up with a little jump. Hopefully Heather will be on the message board and ex[plain it better. I really am the last person to be giving out CF technique advice :) Hey, I heard you met my son at the playground yesterday!

    PS…I have no skin left over my knees…REALLY. Night crew, wear knee guards or long pants!

  23. Amber, as we have discussed before I AM old enough to be Marcus’s Mom and pretty much everyone else’s in the gym….including Mike. No offense Mike but on the message board you post that you are 40…so I could have had you when I was 20…beside, my daughter will be 39 in May! That being said Amber…..I am old and deaf but not blind! He is so cute and you make a darling couple!

  25. Ben, I am not sure if knee guards are one of Sara’s pet peeves as are the work out gloves. Try it and see what her reaction is….lol. I am pretty sure most everyone in the gym would laugh but they are functional. My knees are shredded…for real! Have fun tonight!

    I know I’m crazy but I actually liked this workout….I know, you should lock me up somewhere ;) But now that I’m posting, I have some bruises that I didn’t think I could have….
    Great job AM crew!!!! LOVED all the doors open too, even though it was pretty darn humid out.

  29. Marc 37/205 I’m with you Amber. I no longer like anything Turkish anymore, including turkey. Screw Thanksgivinh and the turkey I used to eat. 35:57 rx,d. I swear I’ll do the pm WOD again if everyone promises to wear knee pads tonight.

    Holy crap! TGUs are not very fun at all. It was nice to have a longer WOD though. Hey pm crew, if you find any of my knee skin on the floor tonight I would like to get that back. Haha kidding.
