CrossFit Odyssey is a very small box with small classes so we don’t do some things like some of the other Crossfit boxes. Because of our small classes, we are better able to give individual attention and help our members progress as they are ready. Therefore, we do not offer an On-Ramp class like a lot of boxes… instead every day is a teaching day and every member is scaled appropriately from day one.
At some point, you may be ready for Performance WODs and at that point you will be challenged with heavier weights and higher level skills. Some of the higher skills at this level include more Olympic lifting, handstand pushups, pistols, unassisted pullups, toes-to-bar and more.
Competition class meets on Sundays at 1pm if you are interested in competing. We also offer personal training for anyone interested in an even more personalized routine that works on your specific needs. If you are interested in competing, we highly recommend personal training as a group class is geared toward general fitness, but competition training is geared toward what each individual needs to work on as a competitor.
