A PR is a personal record. In some places they call it a PBโฆpersonal best. Hitting a PR is a big deal even if itโs only 1 pound. We work for every inch, every pound, every second. So letโs celebrate when it happens.
Hereโs the dealโฆas we get older it gets harder and harder to keep those PRs coming. In some ways just staying the same is a PR since time and my body are working against me. So if you put a 1# or 5% or 10% improvement on something get out and do that happy dance!
We have been working on the โHatch Squat Programโ for 11 or 12 weeks. Some of you are behind a week or two or more. Keep working on it. The proof is in the pudding! Here are some of the new PRs set this past week:
Paul Adamsโฆ345# Up 20#
Chris Capriottiโฆ265# Up 20#
John Kerrโฆ150#
Chris Goodwinโฆ235#
Chase Russellโฆ235#
Matthew Leeโฆ250# Up 25# (thatโs 10%!)
Dan Sellsโฆ275#
Britton Churchโฆ350#
Chris McRorieโฆ325#…Up 10#
Dwaine Nurseโฆ275#
Clay Snellingโฆ235#
Malcolm Hicksโฆ165#
Amy Peckโฆ200#
Karen Sandersonโฆ145#
CONGRATULATIONS!!! Way to go! Iโm sorry I donโt have how much all of you increased but you should be proud whether itโs 1, 10, or 25#!
If I missed someone, I apologize. Just let me know and I will add you next week!
The answer to all the mysteries of the Universe is: More Squats! So keep on squatting!
